Every year my kids have come to expect me to do some type of April Fool's joke on them. This year when dinner was served and it was all regular food they were a little disappointed. But, when dessert came their faith in me was restored. I made the sundaes above that are supposed to look like fried eggs. Not the most elaborate prank but they loved it. Greyson knew it was a prank, Natalie didn't want to eat it, and Jake didn't care he just likes eating. It was just ice cream covered with marshmallow fluff and a yellow type of pudding on top to look like an egg. They come to expect this little joke like they expect Santa. I guess I need to keep the tradition up. One year I made meatloaf cupcakes with mashed potatoe "frosting". I really had them that year. It was great. Here's the 3 of them chowing down.
